Domains.ph is a Philippine-based domain registrar where we register domain
names with .PH extensions (*.ph, *.com.ph, *.edu.ph, etc) while
Domain-It! is a US-based web
hosting registrar where we register domain names with extensions excluding .PH
(*.com, *.net, *.org, etc). When you register by yourself you will also pay
70 US Dollars for registration. After you have registered your domain name,
your registration will expire after two (2) years.
Once we register a domain name for you, our next step is to
modify its name servers. Domain name servers are addresses that associate this
domain name with your web hosting account. Once we open a hosting account for
you, we need to modify those name servers to match the names that your new host
will provide. Once your hosting account is activated and we had modified the name
servers, it will take around 24-48 hours for the changes to propagate across the
Internet. Once this happens, your new web site will be accessible by using your
domain name.
